        • One after another, the players of the first team will throw. They will be followed by the players of the opposing team. After the 4 consecutive shots of one team, the other team will start for 4 shots until all players have had their 10 shots.During the playoffs, the top ranked team selects the team that starts shooting.
        • It is at the end of 40 shots of each team that the winner will be determined. The team with the most goals will be named victorious. For example, out of a total of 40 shots in the 10 rounds, Team "A" scored 17 goals and Team "B" scored 13 goals. The match ends 17-13, the "A" team gets 2 points for the win and a +4 differential.

- RULES OF PLAY :

        • 1- Sticks: Any hockey stick can be used to play at our events. The referee may, at any time, declare an illegal stick and force the player to change when it is considered broken or dangerous for the safety of other players.
        • 2- Goalie equipment: Each goalkeeper must wear every piece of standard goalkeeper equipment.
        • 3- Player equipment: Each player must wear a helmet, gloves, skates and the team's sweater identified the same color and different numbers on the back. For the Open and Adult categories, full hockey equipment is suggested, but not required. For the Atom, Pee-Wee and Bantam categories, full equipement is obligatory. If not, the team will be disqualified for the game.
        • 4- Composition of the team: The teams must play with a total of 5 players, goalkeeper included. It is forbidden to change your alignment during the tournament. Each team must appoint a captain.
        • 5- Goalkeeper Substitution: No goalkeeper substitution is permitted unless a serious injury occurs during the tournament and the change is approved by a member of the MAKE YOUR MOVE leadership.
        • 6- Alignment of the teams: The captain of the team must record all his players and their number on the score sheet. If a player is late for the game, the game must still start at the scheduled time. For each shot that a player is not present, a goalkeeper's stop will automatically be recorded against the absent player.
        • 7- Injury of a player: If a player is injured and can no longer play, the team must continue to play without him. His throws will automatically be counted as goalkeeper saves.
        • 8- Abuse: Anyone who does not respect a member of the organization or an opposing player before, during or after a match will face disciplinary measures (penalty or expulsion from the tournament). Anyone who attempts to hit or strike a referee, a member of the organization or any other participant will be kicked out of the tournament and his entire team. A penalty for physical abuse of a referee will result in a lifetime ban of MAKE YOUR MOVE events.
        • 9- Referee: The referee controls the score and sifles the start of each breakaway, the end of the rounds and the end of the game. The referee is the only one who decides whether a goal is granted or denied.
        • 10- Shots on goal: A shootout must be taken as follows :
          • The player places his puck on the starting surface and, at the signal of the referee or the judge, goes to the net and tries to score.
          • The player and the puck must be constantly moving towards the goal.
          • The goalkeeper must be placed in his enclosure until the player touches the puck. The goalkeeper may attempt to stop in any manner he wishes, except by throwing his stick or other object. In case of violation, the shot may be taken again or the goal directly awarded at the discretion of the referee.
          • A goal can be scored with a stick only. not the hand, foot, knees, etc...
          • A goal scored with a stick higher than the crossbar will not count.
          • A goal scored on a return throw will not count.
          • Players on both teams must be standing next to the center line. Players must not interfere with other active players.
        • 11– Equality : If the regular game is tied after the 40 shots, it's a tied game.  If it a playoff game, we add 1 shot for each player (4 shots per team).  If needed, the referee will add other rounds to reach to a winner.
        • 12- Missing player: If a player is not present during the game, the team has only 3 shots per round. The 4th shot is automatically counted as a save by the opposing team. A player cannot be replaced by another during the tournament.
        • 13- Late to the ice for your game: A team that is late to the ice for its game will be penalized. Every 5 minutes, the team loses 1 round, so its 4 shots count as 4 saves for the opposing team.
        • 14-No-show team: If a team doesn't show up for a game, the opposing team will receive a +8 differential after the game.

- TIEBREAKER IN STANDINGS :

        • It is important to know that for each tiebreaker, the goal is to identify the best team (s). Each criterion aims to eliminate one or more teams until the goal of identifying the best team or teams is achieved. When there is a tie between two (2) or more teams, all of these teams are subject to the following points. For each criterion, only the tied teams are kept until finally a criterion determines the first team. When the first team has been identified or eliminated, a second tiebreaker must be restarted with the teams tied starting from the first criterion for the 2nd team if necessary and so on.
        • 1- The greatest number of points.
        • 2- The best differential: total goals for, minus total goals against.
        • 3- Team "goals for"
        • 4- Draw
        • The PTS for the standing are locked after the round-robin.
